Bled – Slovenia Estates


Bled – Introduction

Bled on the North-West of the country with more than half a million visitors a year is the most popular resort in Slovenia.

These visitors, however, diverge soon after arrival, since one of bled’s attractions is its easy access to the Triglav National Park. Visitors to bled are always charmed by its stunning views and its captivating Alpine lake.

Bled island, for centuries is a symbol of the area. It can be visited by the famous traditional wooden boats called “pletna”, and there is a tradition to climb 99 stupenek to the medieval chapel and ring the “bell desires”. Above the lake stands the impressive castle and offers a stunning view across all of bled. Near the town of bled are some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps in Slovenia.

How to get

By plane :

The international airport in Ljubljana. Jože Plečnik is just 36 km from the capital. Regular daily services operate between Ljubljana airport and all major European hubs.

By car :

To drive to bled is easy by car, about 40 minutes ‘ drive from the capital Ljubljana. In addition, bled is only 47 km from Slovenia’s borders with Austria and Italy.

By train :

National Park Durmitor and the Tara river canyon – the Arriva

Durmitor national Park (the scheme ) was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1980. Here the beauty of nature is revealed so that it outshines other natural attractions of Montenegro.

How to get to the Durmitor and the Tara canyon

Starting point to visit the Tara river canyon is the đurđevića bridge. You can come here by car or public transport and the tour. To the right of the bridge begins the path that descends to the river and displays a wide area of the canyon.

To reach Durmitor by bus and tour. By public transport you need to get to žabljak (about 15 €), then walk to National Park Durmitor. The Black lake can be reached in about an hour. At the entrance to the Park will charge 2 euros for the admission.

With Celtic “Durmitor” is translated as “mountains, on which many water sources”. There really is 18 lakes. They are called the Gorski Eyes (“Eye Gore”). This is a unique landscape that no longer exists anywhere in the world. The most famous of lakes – Black – stands at 1416 m above sea level.

National Park – Belovezhskaya Pushcha – a Journey into nature – the ecological trail

Excursion “Journey into nature” along the ecological trail of the natural complex “Blue lakes” is a meeting with one of the most interesting and unique corners of nature of Belarusian Poozerie.

“Blue lake” (formerly titled reserve of national importance, established in 1972 on the area of 1500 ha, now natural complex, since 1999 in the national Park “Narochansky”) is a unique hilly moraine natural complex.

Nature Blue lakes is so rich and diverse that can serve as both a monument of the glacial era (the relative height differences up to 50 m) and a natural laboratory for naturalists.

The center of this natural complex is Boldukskaya lake group, each of which is unique. Bolduc is renowned for deep, clear and cold water; Globla – green water and high transparency; shaped glubelka – very beautifully shaped lake; in Imera – soapy, soft water, Achment – brackish (with salinity of over 300 mg/l). All these lakes are in the basin of fast and rapids of the river Stracha, the right inflow of the river Viliya.
